We wear what we love.

But walk into a climbing gym and we’re wearing anime, beer shirts, old gym tees, and whatever was clean.

We always thought that was kind of weird.

Then climbing becomes your thing.

You go once.

Then twice.

Then your gym starts to feel like home.

The people there become your people.

Your week starts to change around when you can climb.

And the stranger next to you is yelling “COME ON!” like they’ve known you for years.

At some point, you stop being someone who goes climbing.

You’re a climber.

So where was the shirt for this?

We looked.

A lot of climbing shirts felt like one of three things:
Too loud.
Too cheap.
Or way too serious.

We didn’t want a shirt that literally screamed, “LOOK, I CLIMB.”

We wanted one that another climber could see and just get.

So our family made it.

We’re a family in Las Vegas.

We fell in love with climbing.

And for the last three years, literally just us six have been designing the shirts we wished we had when we started.

Yep. It’s really just us.

It starts on paper.

Well... Digital paper!

Ethan draws all of our art by hand.

No big design team.

No pile of stock graphics.

A stylus. A blank canvas. And a lot of bad ideas before we find a good one.

Good art on a bad shirt still sucks.

So we got really picky about the shirt too.

We tried a lot of them.

Then we found the softest one we had ever worn.

It costs us more.

WAY more.

We use it anyway.

And we cared about more than how it felt.

The shirts we start with are made through WRAP-certified factories with standards for safe and fair working conditions.

And our designs are printed with water-based, OEKO-TEX-certified inks.

Cause if we're going to make a shirt you wear all the time, we want to feel good about how it's made too.

All this because we don’t want Ch*lk U to be a shirt you just like in a photo.

We want it to be the shirt you keep grabbing.

The base shirt

Our base tees come from a manufacturer that says it has sourced exclusively from WRAP-certified factories since 2017. It is also Fair Labor Accredited. WRAP certification focuses on safe, legal, and ethical manufacturing practices.

The printing

Our designs are printed directly onto the shirt with water-based inks. The inks are OEKO-TEX certified. Our printer says they are safe even for children’s clothing and are made to have a lower impact on the environment.

Made when you order

We print Ch*lk U shirts on demand instead of making huge piles of finished shirts ahead of time. That helps us avoid overproducing shirts that may never be worn.

And we won’t pretend clothes have zero impact

Our main tee is a triblend made with cotton, polyester, and rayon. We’d rather tell you exactly what we know than slap “100% sustainable” on the page and call it a day.

This is why we won’t shut up about how soft it is.

It has a regular, easy fit with room to move. Some people say it can feel a little smaller than other tees. Check our size chart and real-climber fit photos before you pick.

No big deal. Start a return in your account within our 14-day return window. If you want another size, we’ll help you swap it.

Yep. Softness is the thing people notice most. Climbers we sent shirts to have called them some of the softest shirts they have worn. Don’t believe us? Feel it for yourself. You have 14 days to send it back.

It is pre-shrunk, so it should not shrink much (if at all). Wash it cold to help it stay looking and feeling its best.

Yep! It is light, soft, and easy to move in. Real climbers have worn it through all kinds of weird climbing moves without it catching or bunching.

Usually 6-10 business days. Most shirts take about 1-3 days to make. Shipping is usually about 5-7 days after that.
