What's with the name?
Unbelievably enough, we climb, and even more unbelievable is that we joke while climbing.
While climbing at some point we said to one another “Chalk you!” Of course this is a play on the highly coveted f*ck you (censored for your innocent eyes).
So next time your with your climbing buddy and they say that you could never climb that grade, tell em Ch*lk U!

Nope! We work with an on demand printer.
This produces less waste—since merch is only made to order—and helps us keep up with increasing demand!

How long will it take to process my order?
We normally process items within 2 days, but it can take up to 5 days to process your order depending on the product and time of year.

How long will it take for my order to be delivered?
Delivery in the United States normally takes 6 - 11 days from the date processed.
For International, deliveries can take between 10 - 31 days from the date processed.
Although, these timeframes are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed since they vary based upon your location and postal service.

Will I have to pay custom fees?
If you are located outside of the United States, your order may be subject to customs fees/taxes based on the retail value of the package.
These fees are not determined by CH*LK U and are beyond our control.
Customs fees differ from country to country, so it is your responsibility to find out what the charges will be.
If your package is returned to us because you refused to pay customs, we will not issue a refund.
If you have questions as to why you are billed certain import fees/taxes, or would like a more detailed outline of what to expect when your package arrives in your country, we recommend contacting your local customs office or the courier that directly billed you.

What is your refund policy?
The chances are slim, but we suppose there could be some remote possibility where the solar system aligns in such a way that causes a rare equilibrium imbalance in one climber who then feels the need to return our merch in some fugue state.
If you’re thinking that climber might be you, no worries, there is no judgment here from the CH*LK U community. We are a judgment-free zone.

What if I receive the wrong merch?
We suppose, if a dimensional implosion in the universe caused a cosmic ray to ripple across space that ends up sideswiping into earth, could create the slight possibility of you getting merch you didn’t order.

Do you sell in physical stores?
Ah, you’re an old soul, we get it.
Sadly at this time, we don’t sell our merchandise in physical stores.
Think of your store credit as unopened hard liquor, it just never expires.

What's climbing/bouldering?
While we recommend looking up what climbing is and how to get into it, we’ll do our best to bequeath a bit of wisdom unto you:
Climbing/bouldering is pretty much about trying to climb to the top of a mountain or boulder with your hands and/or feet.
Usually you climb on what's called a route (think of it as a hiking trail).
Climbing can be a sport, hobby, workout, pastime, meditation, or whatever you want it to be.
Why is there no women's or men's section for clothing?
1. The boulder doesn’t care what you are.
2. We didn’t feel it was right to smoke screen people into thinking they were going to get something that was especially tailored for that gender, when in reality it would have been made to be unisex anyways.
3. It would have made more work for us if we didn’t care about smoke screening people.
